A few years ago I sculpted a dwarf bust for a UK company. It is a subject I wanted to revisit, but with some changes. Below are some smudgy snaps of the result. 1/12th scale sculpted in Sculpy, Magic Sculp, Duro and wire.

Rob ,

I have seen this in the raw (Ooooh err!!) and I like this lots , great attention to details ...love the helmet horns and the beard as well .
...........this is an area that has vast potential and gives the painter a chance to go beyond the "rigidness" of uniforms ...unless of course anyone has actually see a Dwarf! Warlord !!

Great stuff , thanks for posting

Hi Rob, I'm not into fantasy subjects (always preferred Cowboys and Indians to Dan Dare as a kid:rolleyes:) but have always liked this sculpt-some great additions to the original which I always felt would be hard to improve on-have you just completed this as a one off or will you be making castings?

Hi Rob,

As you know I always liked the original, this one is even better, might have to extract one from you at the BMSS show.

Cheers

We greet. Great sculpting character. We like the armor, especially the helmet. Reminiscent of the style of Vendell or Anglian and Cimmerian animal decoration, and yet peculiar. Bravo, nice work;)(y) .
