ECW - Officer of the King's Lifeguard of Foot - 1643 Sarnia Miniatures

Calling this one done. Didn’t get off to a great start and had to be stripped and re started.

Flesh using W&N Artisan water soluble oils, the rest using Castle artist acrylics apart from metallic which is Darkstar Steel.

Ignore the gap in the pedestal, I don’t have a plinth for it yet so this is borrowed off another bust.

Really like these Sarnia busts. Not sure I have done this one justice but it is all part of the learning curve. Many thanks for the support and comments on the WIP thread.

Nice finish overall

if anything I would put a wash over feathers and then drybrush and tidy up the base at the back a bit more ...but that's me !!

You are obviously enjoying the benchtime and these releases

The feathers were washed, doesn't come out in the pic so well. The base is temporary, it's off another one as i have run out of plinths. Many thanks Kevin
