A Fixture
Next up on the production line, my second English Civil War bust from Sarnia Miniatures.
Cleaned up and primed using Tamiya then a thin coat of acrylic flesh on face prior to starting to build up the oils. Bit of wet blending for the first session then he can dry overnight before working the tones a bit more over this layer. Lots of refinement needed yet.
I did the helmet as an experiment a few days ago using Darkstar steel, various washes and metaliser powder to buff it up. Didn’t turn out too bad but I will see how I get on with plate armour before I decide if that is it.
