Depicted with sword drawn, looking a bit tired and with his crested great helm tucked under his arm
I bought this one piece casting at Folkestone two years ago.
having only minor touches left to complete, I am calling this done and will post proper pics in completed tomorrow.
painted, including the armour all in acrylics.

I've fallen off me chair looking at this Paul, from the floor this is superb painting. ;) Yep just got up and can confirm this is indeed superb painting Love the armour paint job.(y)

Nice work Paul, often looked at some of the CK Castings figures, look pretty good quality wise considering they are one piece castings. Would you recommend them ?

Off to take a Naproxen now for my stiff neck after bending it 90 degrees to look at the pictures :D
 
I would mate I've done a couple.
The sculpts have great proportions on many in the range and although there's sometimes small bits
of solder peaking' to file away, there's nothing to stop you getting straight into painting them.

Bearing in mind you pay about 3 dollars for many of 'em, I think it fair to say you get 'more than you pay for'.
(Each sculpt is shown as bare metal on their site btw).

No Kev I used
'Miniature Paints' chainmail
Then a 50% wash of gloss varnish mixed with a touch of
blue and black acrylic.
Then when all was dry again pin lights of vallejo silver and chainmail mixed 1:1with a very sharp point
