1:10 scale resin bust with white metal parts
Original concept and design: Dave Maddox
Sculptors: Roy Hunt and Dave Maddox. The face was a mannequin bust, specifically sculpted for this project by the late Roy Hunt. Dave Maddox undertook the rest of the sculpting as well as the painting of the boxart.

About the sculpting

Hello Marc,

Thanks for the compliments but we'd like to give credit where it is due.

The original concept and design was all Dave's and this must be duly acknowledged. Roy sculpted only the face itself of the bust whereas Dave finished the whole bust - tunic, back and breast plates, helmet, pedestal, etc. He also wrote out all the historical information which is provided as a 16-page booklet with the bust itself. Obviously Dave also undertook the painting of the bust.

This was the original mannequin face sculpted by Roy.
