Rather against all odds, I'm searching for the OOP 90mm French Caporal Sapper of Chasseurs 1870 sculpted by Stefano Canone and discontinued from the Elite Miniaturas line.

Hi Piet, Colorado Miniatures has it still listed on his website also, for 89,95$. He ships also "first class international" who is resonable in shippingcosts and Gray is not a wrong guy to deal with. But still cheaper than +/-75 euro with first class international it wont get, I think.

I did buy the very last one Historex Agents had in stock 2 weeks ago. The day after I learnt that Elite Miniaturas was closing end of 2010.

Elite discontinued the product because they were unable to reach an agreement with S. Cannone on the royalties a couple of years after release.

Are the Cannone's sculpting for anyone commercially now? Their work has always been inspiring.

S. Cannone sculpted some other figures for Elite which are still available (mostly Franco-Prussian war). The disagreement was only about this sapper, as far as I know.
