Wow ! Great sculpt ! I especially like the folds and creases in the clothing, it really makes this figure stand out in a crowd of other miniatures.
Mike surely is still one of the greatest sculptors ... "the man who sculpted Sailor Malan" ! (one of the best portraits in miniature I ever saw)

looks very nice though it seems to me that he 's more posing for a picture than standing in actual combat.

Perhaps this is why I don't do more action figures. I can't make everybody happy. Maybe I should take up macrame instead???

I had the chance to see the master in the flesh at Manuel's home and for me the figure is a beauty. And elegant, which is not common. It has his own style and thank to God it is not the same really tedious boring static inexpressive figure one is used to.
In my opinion there is a difference in doing a scale figure and sculpting, which I think also mean moulding the artistic vision. For me the way it is sculpted express well that concept.

I can't wait to buy this must have "action" piece..perhaps from one of the vendors at the upcoming Philly show..I'm not much of a critic...I prefer to paint the stuff .....and your stuff.. is fun and inspirational to paint!! Always.
