Nice paintjob. For avoiding the popeye look of the eyes you can give them a darker shade at the upper eyelid, and a lighter dark color at the undereye lid.

Yeah, I was going for angry glare, and got pop - I've been looking at it for so long in painting it I guess I didn't see it - might touch up later. Thanks for the tip.

I agree, your paint work is very good, really, but you paint the eyes too big for my taste. The rest is top level.
