This is new project in 54 mm in metal for 1st Guards.
Sculpture by Sergey Zlobov, painting my own.

Figure represent English Archer of XIV century, end of Hundred year war.

the photos don't do any favours to the figure tho!!!

did you polish or paint the metal part? Can you tell us?

Yes, photos not so good. I think that Light was choose not correctly. :(

Periklis:
I polish metal helmet at the beginning. Then I paint it with very thin varnish + drop of Black or Smoke acrylic colour. After dry up I paint very-very liquid water + Silver acrilyc. I paint only top of helmet where sunshine. This process like usual polish but only brush with paint.
I used Silver by APA colour.

nicely done! I really like the face, and if the metalics are done with acrlics, my hat is off to you! Nice simple presentation as well. One thought, the area under the quilted armor looks to be the same light color as the rest of the tunic. I might suggest making that considerably darker, so that it might create a more shadowed effect underneath. Nice work!
