Wow, definitely a quick and dirty method. Probably good for the armor modelers that want a respectable crew figure.

It's a joke right? The drybrush demo was hilarious. He also does a Deee-o-rama (his words) depicting WW2 Russians in their blue uniforms....

Right.

Yeah, it's definitely a quick and easy way.

I bet I can find an even quicker and easier way, especially "when you're not interested in painting the best looking figures around"....

I am with Janne on this each to their own and he is trying to help as best he can *shrug* As Joe said its probably aimed at vehicle blokes more anyway, still lets not let that burst the self rightous bubble eh?

Do people really pronounce Diorama that way?...I know most mispronounce Tamiya but never heard Diorama pronounced like that before.

I don't like to be harsh, as I know he's trying to help, but it does more harm then good, black washes on everything, really thick buildup of paint etc.If you showed a youngster starting out this , you'd have to point out all thats wrong with it, not leaving much content.
Still least he gets projects finished and has a good time whilst doing it.Wish I could be like him in that regard.

IMHO this person encourages more people to get involved into the hobby than some experts.
He displays models and shares his techniques so many viewers might feel confident to try by themselves and get a similar or better result.
Didn't we all start from similar levels?
- Some of my first results when there were no "how-to"`s, no internet but some Airfix-paint-jars, little plastic soldiers and a lot of enthusiasm - they serve for me as a reminder what the hobby is about - enjoy.

Tell you what! fair credit to the guy who produced this. It's never going to win any prizes ..... but it's clear, well filmed and would certainly encourage newbies to have a go.
I'd much rather watch this than 15 minutes of some 'master' mixing acrylic paint on a saucer.
What you get here is a guy who has clearly enjoyed himself and is well pleased with the result.
Cheers

I'm no expert but as those are Russian sailors in Sevastopol I'd imagine they were in blue uniforms or have I missed the point (assuming there was one) ?

Perhaps we all shall remember where we started at.

As earlier, there are many levels and you dont have to be on the highest to enjoy it. Pun not intended.
Kudos to all who tries to help fellow modellers.

Cheers
