WIP Critique Ensign 52nd of Foot Waterloo 1815

Hi Folks

Managed to get a few more hours in painting on this cracking 90mm figure from Stormtroopers Miniautres.

All cast in resin it was up to the usual high standards of quality and fit that comes with all Stormtrooper pieces.

I decided to put a couple of pins in the left arm that holds the flag, it fits just fine without these but if I sell it and it has to be shipped out then there is the extra protection.

I have been really struggling with the uniform colour but have had some help from Stu and Ron T so hope I got it right so far.

I have been working on that big flag and hope to get a full days painting in tomorrow to get it finished.

Flesh painted in Reaper acrylics' and the rest painted in Andrea paint for the reds and scale 75 for the rest.

Any observations or recommendations would be most welcome at this point.

Pictures are not that great as taken on my phone camera in artificial light.

The buff facings and turn backs need to be toned down as they are to yellow and not buff enough

I'm not that well voiced on the uniform colors without cracking out the books, but that looks like some pretty respectable progress!
