Ernst Udet Bust

This figure had always vexed me. I loved the subject, but for various reasons, I could not make him look right. The 150mm bust was sculpted by Mike Good in the early 1990s and was included in the DML 1/48 scale Fokker DVIII airplane kit. I finally ended up doing a bit of cosmetic surgery for the face and reducing and reshaping the shoulders a bit. I painted him in acrylics. I hope you like the results

Great to see you posting the artwork, you've done it credit , quite a plain piece , not a lot of detail which can make benchtime " interesting "
