Regretably, not having been at Euro this year,,,,,, what did everybody buy ????????? (Anonimity from wives guaranteed) (Those who ARE wives are well able to defend ANY spending) :).

Hey Gary.

I preordered historex set 3022 the emperor's staff. ( 5 mounted kits),
and a mounted red lancer.

At the show I purchased EK castings no M155 a lovely 14th century knight ffrom Ace miniatures.
2 x 120mm busts 'Sgt hakeswill' and a hooded steampunk girl from Elan,
And a French revolutionary 1/9th scale from Grah at GCS.
So 10 items really.

I think I was a very good boy.
I needed the plas kits for my waterloo project in january,
so I now have everything I need now.

Well I was a good Boy.

I purchased . A Set of 21 metallics from Dark Star. MMM Lt Col Douglas 11th Hussars. Stormtroopers Lieut Coldstream Gds Bust 1854. I then talked myself into Stormtroopers Officer 66th Regt of Foot Maiwand 1880. ( In the hope they will produce one or two more to go with it.
I had two more on the list a Figure and a Bust but they were not quite ready yet so they are ordered.

I then went to the local model shop in the Old High St to purchase some vallejo paint as none were on sale at the show.
So Mrs B and the Bank Manager are happy

Mark.

What in the hell is 'Curling up the sides of your Brass'. ???
Or is this a no-go area! .. Due to the delicate dispositions of some members. :DMark.

Just asking mate.

Your brass could curl around it right?
Is this a trick? Is it some kind of 'antiques roadshow curiosity'
No idea what else it could be for, sorry.
It looks somewhat like a medieval armoured accesory,
Or some workmanlike tool but it's not in any of my illustrated catalogues..

I don't know what you meant by all that other stuff.

Hope I'm being helpful mark, thanks for posting.

The 200mm French Grenadier"Vive l'Empereur"; 75mm figures from Ellies,1x Chasseur trumpeter,1x Tirailleur Officer Standard Bearer; 3x bottles of 'Rokit',various cosistencies; 2x holders (wooden handled); set of Brokentoad brushes; Darkstar's new ink washes; a book on wood effects with acrylics, and a nice little scenic base for a 54mm, from the pleasant Greek chaps. And a bottle of 'Old Speckled Hen' at £3.50 !! That's what hurt!
There was much else I mightily desired, but held myself in check with the resolve to do a number of the GA before adding any more:rolleyes::angelic:

Fair play mate. Brought me a huge smile and actually reminds me of my first year at Euro in the early nineties when I was like the kid in a candy shop. I think I've still got some of them. Enjoy (y)

I'm like the kid in a candy shop every year Nige, despite promising myself in the run-up that "this year I'll rein it in a bit" :ROFLMAO: .

Actually this year I did rein it in a bit - I had every intention of coming home with the Nuts Planet "Saladin" bust as well!!

My problem is that I can resist anything except temptation ;) .

I grabbed some of those Alan. The company is a new one called Terra Models, run by a very affable fellow by the name of Vassilis. He told me that he's hoping to expand his range into 75mm soon. I hope he does because his stuff is very nice and quite reasonably priced too I thought.

He's worth a plug, so here's the link to his web site (yes I know it looks like it could be a link to a porn site, but trust me it's not!)

He's also on puttyandpaint:
