I'll be there.

And i do not know how it is on the Ferry with the control. Maybe it is the same as in the Tunnel and on Heathrow. I think i will take no Palm Beer with me this year. It good be ended in the trashbin before the beer is finished.

I should be there but I'm really worried about carrying the box with figures on the airplane. All this really sucks

Hi Planeteers,
I will be there with my mate Frank Konetzke on his "Frank Miniatures" stand.
We will be in the Clifton on Friday and as we are staying at the Southcliff, well
its a case of falling out of the bar and into bed !!
Regards
Pete

Guys, I can't wait to see you all again. As I said in my previous post I'm really worried about travelling with the figures on the airplane. Apart from you UK based modellers has anyone got any clues as how on earth we are going to get the figures over? I don't want to sound like a pain but it reflects my concern. Would love to hear your views

I'm going to pack mine in my lugage as securely as I can and trust to fate. Why would anyone think some one coming from Ireland to England might have a bomb???????

Hi
Just Heard a news broadcast... hand luggage such as a
lap top cases are being allowed

Seems business is being catered for first.
Hopefully by next month other sizes of cases will be allowed

Sooner passenger profiling is brought in the better
as the queues I see on the news are horrendous
with everyone being treated as a suspect

You crease me up big man... and I really do owe you some cold ones mate..!!

Hope our visitors don't experience any problems..definately worth calling up the airline in a week or so to see how you stand.

Safe journey to all...Roy.

Just posted some information to Ivan Cocker over on MedRom forum. Got some information from my son and he tells me you can contact Air Malta tell them you are travelling with delicate items even show them if they want and they should be able to carry them in the secure hold of the aircraft. Possible you take them in the box to be x-rayed then carry them to the gate where they will be taken off you and loaded into the hold away from the general cargo.
Talk to Ivan about it and contact Air Malta well before you travel.

You dont need to talk to Air Malta ( making it easy for you ) just talk to the airline see what they will do for you. Need a secure box though but they should be able to carry it without the dreaded cargo handling. See you in a few weeks
