Nice pictures!

About the shadowbox. Am I missing out on the joke? I dont get it? Or is the joke simply a fat guy waching tely in his underwear?

Cheers
Janne Nilsson

Janne, I'm right there with ya. My guess was that because it says "Reality TV" on the front, that we are actually looking at reality, in a TV, a chubby, lazy guy in his undies drinking beers. Just my guess though. It's a little hard to look at honestly, it looks too much like me when I see it! LMAO!!!!!

The photo shows the inside of the scene very well, but at the cost of distorting the lighting, which is the cool blue of a tv screen reflecting off the belly and skin of the dude on the couch. The light source is hidden in the lower left corner, where we can't see it, but the viewer knows instantly that the "tube" is the only light in the room.
This diorama is small - think mini portable tv with antenna - but the impact when you see it on the table is huge. Yes, the "Reality TV" logo on the tv case enhances the story line (and serves as the name plate), but it is the lighting effect, coupled with the casual attire of the dude, that stops you in your tracks.
The subject isn't necessarily everyone's favorite, but the workmanship, painting, lighting and overall vision/execution is world class.
Yes, I liked it!
Don
