Euro Militaire 2011

Just got back from a great weekend at Euro Militaire,a great show yet again with the only difference for me being i finally got to meet some of my fellow planeteers this year and was able to spend some quality time with them all.

Had a great friday night at weatherspoons enjoying a few pints of guinness with Carl Barton,Mark Benette,Ken Farrar,great company lads i really enjoyed it,this was then followed on sat night in the italian in the company of Tommi and his wife along with Keith Davidson,Mark Benette,Ken Farrar,Carl Barton,Steve Kirtley,Ron Tambourini,Stuart Hale and quite a few others whose names i cant remember,many thanks keith for organising an enjoyable evening and inviting me along to Don Giovanni's restaurant.

Also i'd like to thank Dave Mitchell for the advice he gave me in the competion room sat morning regarding a problem i had regarding class clarification,cheers dave .

Some other planeteers i had the pleasure of meeting was Sam Brayne,Derek Bell and Don Matheson,Dave Mitchell on the leas lower bar balcony sunday lunch time,many thanks guys for your warm kindness and company,Don you definately made an impression on me mate your humour is second to none :lol:,i wont forget you and thanks for your kind words of support on some of my competion entries,i will definately be looking forward to having a drink with you next year and before you mention it i know its my round next.

Thanks guys for the coments,every now and then in life you seem to meet people that you really connect with and thats how i felt about the lads from the planet last weekend,meeting don was most enjoyable to me considering i had never met don before last weekend and he made me feel really comfortable with his chat and humour,i'm already looking forward to meeting up with don again,a true scotsman and a gentleman.

Smudger, it was a true pleasure to meet you, and just forget those awful things that other "Brian" was saying its nice to know my true nature is showing at last, after all those years of upsetting people.
Was a great weekend meeting everyone, the one part that makes Euro the show it is.
Enjoyed our chat out on the balcony Brian and congratulations on your result.
I would have given it a gold even with my good glasses on! Super bit of work indeed.
Look forward to next year and with luck I will be there and may I just point out to all our readers, I cant buy ALL the beer, someone else has to take a turn!
Did anyone else notice the earth shattering event, a Euro first, on saturday morning when Davie Mitchell bought some ( but not a lot) beer.
