I had two links of T-72 track on the side of my house but somebody made off with them. I'll bet that B@*%$#* sold them for scrap :sour:!

The Guy is a self confesed tea leaf..."I collected cap badges and memorabilia whilst I was at Bovington".
So that's where the Bovington collection of cap badges went.;)

If you wait 40 years Joe he may feel guilty and return them.
Cheers,
Keith

I have a little piece of the Berlin wall in my loft from when it was knocked down as I was in Germany at the time- Oh yeah, Lord Lucans there too.

Strangely enough I was sorting out my attic last weekend and came across my old kit from when I was in the Army. It amounted to a sizeable amount of webbing Pattern 58 and Combat 95 Infantry webbing, along with combat trousers and jackets (various issues) and 2 sets of Body Armour, the oldest from my time in the 1st Gulf and the second from 2003 when I was in Iraq (Less the plates of course) my helmet, which I have the desert cover and normal DPM cover, also an American, German and Dutch set of uniform. I have binned most of the kit but have kept some as research material for when I paint my figures.

Miss Haversham?
What the Dickens! ............Stop taking the Pip;)
Apparently the one in the loft used to run an hotel....and a fine looking woman she is Mother bates.JPG

Derek, your completly round the Oliver Twist!
I'll artfully dodge making any further comment.

I remember when I was in primary school, 50 years ago, we were asked to bring in some wartime memorabilia for a project. Having just checked with one of my classmates we are agreeed that from a class of about 35 eight year olds we had several bayonets, a few Fairbairn Sykes, umpteen bullets. loads of allied and german helmets and about 12 Mills Bombs...2 of which I brought in, and the star of the show was a girl who brougt in a Luger and a Sten gun. Just imagine what would happen today, the teacher didn't bat an eyelid.........mind you this was in Glasgow
