Hello everybody...

Wanting to do something different from all the historical stuff I do, I decided to do this wonderful 54mm fantasy character from Ares Mythlogic. There is a WIP thread here that includes a short post on how I approached painting her armor.

Very nice work. I like how the armour resembles leaves and foliage. Incorporates good camouflage at the same time as being one with nature. Very clever.

Thank you Tony, I really do think the glade/meadow base works better than the rather plain cobblestone base she came with - definitely worth the little bit of extra effort

Thank you Terry! You're right, she's on a shelf now with some other figures and compared to the rest, she sticks out like a bright green neon sign!

Thanks for the very kind words John. In my mind I saw her as being very "one with nature" and I (hopefully) tried to capture that
