Hi, I have a photograph of myself taken in the Falkland Islands, on the high ground overlooking Port San Carlos, could this be turned into some sort of a small diorama? and how much it would cost to do so, as I am not a modeller but have always had a keen interest, but not the talent.
In the original photo, I am sitting on my webbing holding an SLR with a sling attached, my shelter was made of ammo tins filled with soil, and sections of turf, and a poncho, I am wearing a lightweight parachute helmet with sandbag strips attached to a camo net ( http://www.gostak.co.uk/composites/uk/ ) with chin strap hanging open, a windproof smock with the pockets heavily ladened, NI gloves, 'OG' trousers the old type, and have a ginger beard growth—also DMS boots and arctic socks, this photo was taken on 27th May 1982 just before we began our walk across East Falklands, so we hadn't washed or shaved since leaving SS Canberra on 19th May.
Any help is appreciated.
Bye for now Jimmy

That is a model which I would certainly add to my collection, It would be a nice companion piece to

'Contact. Wait Out.' Sgt Mather SAS MM Falklands 1982 by Maurice Corry.

Richie recently did two cracking figures, one of one of the Paras walking through a ruin in Oosterbeek, and one of Wilf Olham, standing by the grave of his friend Norman Manchester who was killed in Ooosterbeek.

Oh, Is that an Argentine helmet in one of those photos?
