Fallschirmjager colour help please

Hi

I was wanting to know if the fg42 bandolier that they wear over there shoulders for ammo are black or greyish as seen on the dragon box( 3rd Fallschirmjager division)

The figure I am doing from Maurice corry is below

It says in the figure instructioins that the fg42 bandolier are olive green and camo colour. He will be from the Monte Cassio 1944 time frame so does he also have to have desert yellow pants or can he have field grey as well.

Any help for colours would be great as I have NFI.

Dont know the specific figure youre reffering to but Ive seen them painted as black leather, brown leather, blue leather/webbing and tan webbing.

If youre not doing a specific figure you have some options.

I dont see any reason why not, the trousers are slightly more baggy than the field grey version but then again i`ve seen photos of some seriously oversized field grey trousers being worn by FJ in normandy.

Heres some FJ one with FG42 and camo bandolier these guys look like they may be in North africa but would have been similarly dressed in italy.
