Hello,

German paratroopers used A LOT of different uniforms, depending on the time or/and of the theatre - as you put it, I find the question too generic and all-enccompassing, and would require a very lenghty answer.

Could you please be a little more precise?

Hello;

Look at the webpages the other members have provided, you will find the info you need. In the pages I have referred to you can find examples of all the necessary uniforms and equipment. I can give you a few directions:

At the time of the war you mention, I would recommend temperate uniforms (i.e. non-tropical): main items would be field grey jump trousers, and third model jump smocks in Luftwaffe splinter, either hard-edge or blurred-edge; paratrooper helmets, with or without covers (This does not mean tropical uniforms or other non mentioned pieces of equipment could be completely ruled out, but I think those listed are more representative for 1944, so answering your fairly generic question).
