Geoff, you might do a search on eBay for the patch. Odds are there are at least a dozen out there at any time. I'd also do a search in Google or Yahoo (photo search, that is), as fire fighting collectibles are hot (no pun intended).

Sometime ago I picked up the Verlinden Firefighter bust and I'm just about ready to start painting it. The Verlinden box art is vague on the shoulder patch detail and I'm not sure where to start looking. Has anyone painted this already or got access
to any information. The helmet already has a plate at the front carrying the number 5.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
