Hello Folks
Latest release from MMM in the Defending the Colours range is a 3 x figure resin set in 120mm scale. It depicts an incident during the battle of Albuera 1811 when the 3rd Foot -The Buffs- were caught out of square by french cavalry including a regiment of Vistula Legion Lancers who managed to capture several colours during the engagement. The scene shows a lancer trooper grasping the regimental colours which are being held by an ensign who is about to be struck by a lance whilst a chosen man is attempting to grab the flag.
The figures have been beautifully sculpted by Pete Morton and this makes a fantastic dynamic diorama in its own right or can be added to other figures in the range.
The foot figures have a choice of belgic/stovepipe shakos.
