You can now post your entries for August's FOTM feature here.

Before you do, please read the accompanying sticky which explains how it works:

http://www.planetfigure.com/threads/figure-of-the-month-please-read.77554/

Last date for contributions this time will be Sunday 31st August.

NOTE 1: This thread is intended ONLY for members' FOTM entries, NOT for comments. If you like something just click the "Like" button.

NOTE 2: So that folks can make a more informed choice when voting later, would all contributors please provide a bit of basic information about their piece. No need for a "chapter & verse" SBS explanation, but the following info would be useful: 1) Subject 2) Manufacturer 3) Scale 4) Any conversion or major scratching done. Thanks! (y)

My entry for august is this beautifull bust from HQ Model kits. It's a bust sculpted by Carl Reid, produced by Felipe Margem and painted with oils.
Scale is 1/9.

Yes, every one's a winner so far!

But PLEASE don't post comments in this thread - just click "like". Otherwise the thread becomes cluttered and doesn't help me at the end of the month when sorting throgh it. (see note in initial post).

Thanks guys!

My entry for FOTM is the Mitches military models bust of Private Hook,I did some conversion work on this by altering the angle of the head and adding a complete right arm.
Painted in oils over acrylics,it's a 1/9th scale piece with the addition of a post.

Hi Guys ,

Here a joint entry done by Jimbo and myself paying tribute to the often forgotten heroes on the British home front, depicting a City of London Policeman , Land Girl ( on left ) and a WVS (women's volunteer service) .

All converted by Jimbo from busts I had for ages ! painted using Acrylics together with Water Soluable Oils with the base being finished by posters and ration books and coupons to hopefully tie the three together .
