Does anyone know of shops that sell figurines in Madrid, Valencia or Barcelona, and their addresses?

Any recommendations would be most welcome.

Chris

Samarkanda in Barcelona only do mail service now, I'm afraid.
Girona is only one hour drive from Barcelona and hosts one of the last figure-only shops in Europe, that of Art Girona. While the shop itself is tiny, once there ask to be led to their workshop, a short walking distance away. They stock thousands of figures from the major and some minor manufacturers and have an impressive display cabinet filled with figures exquisitely painted by world reknown masters.
Girona itself is worth a trip.

Cunning plan: Take the Mrs on a "romantic" long weekend to Girona and score massive brownie points.

Then after you arrive, while out for a stroll you "just happen" to "stumble across" said shop ..... which of course you never even knew existed :sneaky: :hungry: .

Terrific plan! Art Girona is perfectly located for that, in the historic old town, just in front of the city hall. You won't have to walk through uninteresting suburbs which can make your wifey suspicious of your true intentions!

An added plus if you are a Game of Thrones TV series fan: many scenes have been shot in Girona old town.

Weh-heyyyyyyyyy!! It gets even better!!! (y)(y)(y)

My trouble & strife loves "Game of Thrones" (as do I for that matter) so it's an absolute win-win on all sorts of levels!

"Taxi to the airport please!!" :ROFLMAO:

Many thanks Guys. Just stumbling across a figure shop after an hour's drive from Barcelona SHMBO will love it!

PS. Where in Girona is the store ? - If its in the main shopping district I'm in with a chance.

Of the shops in Barcelona listed above, Jordi Rubio in the only one still in operation. It mainly stocks armour kits and 1/35 figures, but you may find there the odd Andrea kit and 120mm ones by Alpine, Verlinden and the like. They also stock 1/72 plastic figures by Hät, etc.

Goblintrader is a wargame oriented shop, but they have a terrific selection of paints, putties, tools, etc. It's address is: Carrer Girona, 25, in Barcelona

Many thanks Luis. That saves me time wandering around looking for shops that no longer operate. Greatly appreciated.

A big thanks to Jose Hidalgo as well who PM'd me with a comprehensive breakdown on the shops open in Madrid, and to Richie for suggesting I contact him..

Thank you all for being so helpful.

Cheers
Chris

Sorry for digging up the topic, but could you share some of the info about stores in Madrid?
