I dont know if anyone else here plays computer games, but currently I am playing Skyrim. And as I did a quest last night I thought "Boy those characters sure would look cool as a figure" You have the Empire with Romanesque uniforms, the Foresaken in all sorts of outlandish gear, and the Storm Cloaks in Norse type attire. Then the Dragon Born in some cool armour. It would be very neat to see these done in 75mm. Heck throw in some of the different Dragons and it would be a party.
So question is does anyone else play games and think hey these would be cool as miniatures? Any sculpters or manufacturers who visit here, do you think this would be a viable line to persue? I know I would buy Sky Rim figures.
James who is 52 going on 15;)

You know, I thought I remembered seeing a figure that looked pretty close to the dragon born character... at least the box art version. Unfortunately I don't remember where or who made it, if it was a one off... or if it even exists, my memory could be playing tricks on me. Maybe someone else here saw it and can remember more than me.

I too am playing 'Skyrim', At Lvl 51. (pc), because that has access to the steam workshop! However! the huge amount of different, character's, armour, weapons, staffs, and the fact that you can splice all these together in different ways, and to individual taste. Would make a range of figures nigh-on impossible!.. The only way would be for individual commisions, even then that won't be easy.:) However! the above link that Andy has posted!... Is pretty much the 'Dragon-Born', base character.

Mirosoft, I already have 'Morrowind', and Oblivion', with all the add-on's. However! your missing out with the X-Box!. Because the 'Steam-Workshop', is incredible. only available via PC. ;)

Feel free to contact manufacturer http://northstarmodels.com/order.html

Thanks all. I'll have to get that one from Northstar Models.
My newest character is lvl 56. Just defeated Aldoin again. I guess now its on to the civil war. Thing that got me thinking was the peace conferance with General Tulius' centurian type armour, and the the Storm Cloak Norse dress and the wolf hatted fellow. Man my memory is going, almost as good as a rusty sieve :)

Andrew and Michael, yeah, that was the Skyrim figure I was remembering. Thank you for the link.

PhantomMajor, I'm pretty sure I've seen an ezio figure too. I've just spent the last 10 minutes looking for it but no luck. I thought I saw it on CoolMiniorNot... but a search of the site didn't find the one I remembered. I'm pretty sure it was a small figure 28-30mm version. I remember the painted version I saw was set on a tile floor scene with a lot of leaves around. If I come across it again I will let you know.

In the meantime there are a couple nice assassin figures that are vaguely reminiscent of the assassin's creed character. Draconia (part of Ares Mythologic) makes one and so does JMD. With some minor converting and the right color scheme the one from Draconia (Letalis Umbra) could make a good Ezio Auditore.

Bailey,

i was looking for a figure that was 120mm to 200mm scale, i did see some figure dolls on ebay which i purchased...just waiting for them to arrive form china.

I bought the SKYRIM figure from Northstar and service was very good. The figure is small, but casting quality looks very nice. It's a really nice piece and one of the few sculpted after a popular video game.

Too small for my old eyes Portal  I 'd like this one complete with columns in 90mm or bigger if anybody is feeling generous

Things I'd like to see in miniature.
  • Skyrim Dovahkiin, my character Wolfgar is 48th level but I haven't played it in a while. (I'm planning a 32mm Dio using Redbox Games miniatures & a converted MDC Dragon)
  • Druss & Simeon from the David Gemmell books.
  • Elric (yep, me too. Nocturna's 54 isn't licensed)
  • Frazetta's Death Dealer (I know there are one or two about but nothing within normal price ranges)
  • Harry Potter characters

Some of the Fallout characters and types of power suits would be cool. And some larger scale Ezio figures. Oh and some of the the guys from Call of Duty Modern warfare Soap and Ghost.
