Hi guys,
i will attend a figure show this April in Montreal and i will have to travel with some miniatures in my car.
How do you guys make sure that your productions get to a show without broken parts ?

thank you in advance :)

I make up similar to Andrew but using foam board (Thin layer of paper either side of foam core about 4 or 5mm thick). Glued together with PVA and gummed paper tape over the seams. Been using boxes made from this material for years to carry very light and delicate indoor free flight models such as this one which weighs about 3gms and flies for about a minute. They seem to work okay for figures too :p

Hi Franck
I will see you in april in Montreal !
I am building right now a nee wood box with a door to transport my figures.
the base of the figure is screwed temporarly to the box during transport so that there are no risks of damage.
I will use the same box to transport the figure on a plane (in the cabin) in july for the Chicago show.
When transporting the figure on the plane, it has to be small enough so that it can fit under the seat in front of you (maximum 9" tall for most airlines).
cheers and see you in 3 weeks !
Alex
