Hi Steve

Thanks for posting this I was just about to do the same ...real shame , hard to believe there's not somewhere but it's done now ....

Of course as in the statement from Adrian there is FW West at your show

I liked it in the original hall better as well

Here is a copy of the original post,

"FigureWorld Oundle 2019 cancelled.
Rather a sad post for me to write. Unfortunately, as some of you may be aware, I've had problems making a booking with Oundle School for the show in 2019.
It seems now that the Laxton Cloisters, is going to have some refurbishment work done on it next year and I'm informed that the school is unable to take any bookings over the summer months. They also state that they cannot offer any alternatives for me to use.
I must admit that I have a feeling of deja vu, in that this was what we ( Robin, Rob and myself ) were told when we couldn't book the use of the Great Hall a few years back, and have never had the chance to return to that grand building.
I'm very sorry that this would seem to be the end of the original FigureWorld, but we've had a good run all things considered.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people that have helped out with the running of the show, the club's that have supported it with displays and the traders for their annual and mainly successful attempts to substantially lighten all our wallets - in the nicest possible way and with the coolest of modelling gear in return.
Over the years we've had the good fortune to have some of the UK's top figure modellers demonstrate at the event too, and again I'd like to thank them all for their time and skills that were freely given to the show.
A final thank you to everyone who made the effort to come to the show - the venue, traders and guys and gals to make it run were easy to arrange, the superb atmosphere and friendly welcome was all yours that you brought with you.
Thank you one and all, and please remember that FigureWorld West will still be taking place next year at the Stoke Modelling Club show in March.
Best wishes to all.
Adrian Hopwood."

A big shame that it can't be held in those lovely surroundings any more; it was a really friendly show to which I and my two pals enjoyed going to.
We're finding this in the biker world as well, a reluctance to let us camp and put money in publicans' pockets over a weekend. Good to see the Stoke FigureWorld is on, however.....might have to try and get up to that.

Alan
