Filipinas 1896

Empiezo con una nueva viñeta, ambientada en Filipinas en 1896. Las figuras son soldados españoles, los dos de abajo de la firma de Hidalgo-Beneito y el oficial de arriba de Art-Girona. Los sodados iran metidos en agua, espero que al estar en varias alturas no se note la diferencia de tamaño, 4 o 5 mm, entre los de abajo y el oficial. A uno de los soldados le he modelado la parte de las piernas que faltaban en el kit. Es un proyecto a largo plazo, trabajando a la vez con otros, agua, vegetación y rayadillo a tope.

I begin with a new vignette, set in the Philippines in 1896. The figures are Spanish soldiers, the bottom two from Hidalgo-Beneito's signature and the top officer from Art-Girona. The sodas will be immersed in water, I hope that being at various heights will not notice the difference in size, 4 or 5 mm, between the ones below and the official one. I have modeled the part of the legs that were missing in the kit for one of the soldiers. It is a long-term project, working at the same time with others, water, vegetation and rayadillo at the top.
