You're braver than I am to start trying, so well done.
His face looks like a Native American Indian with those cheekbones. Just my thought. Please keep us updated, it's looking really good so far.

Very good Daniel. You seem to be doing a good job at making the 2 sides of the face even and balanced. I find that the hardest thing to get right. Are you doing anyone specific or a generic face?

Good luck on the rest of it.

There is nothing better than plain practice for learning sculpring. You just have to pick up the clay and muck in......and look at the planes and shapes in people's faces - at least until they start to feel uncomfortable.

Colin

I had to laugh at your comment, because I've had that happen also! Makes for a "warm underarms" minute when someone suddenly discovers you staring intently at their cleft chin or broken nose. :(

I've had the same thing happen staring at folds and creases on someone's clothing.

Maybe we should get little signs to hang around our necks - "Pay no attention to the way this guy is staring. He's a "sculptor-in-training". :)

All the best,
Dan

Ths for all comments, Colin, not especific, just pic a ball of clay and start, trying to do a human face  , i will correct the nose and chin, and add the rest, the most important is that i discovery that sculpting is very good to relax  , when i make some update i post the pics, thx for all

happy modelling !!!

Daniel

Daniel, You have taken the biggest step, now practice practice practice. I would get a good anatomy book, one that gioes into the various proportions of the body as well as the head.~Gary
