First of all I would like to MAKE CLEAR that I am NOT Spanish, I have NOTHING to do with Fontegris and personally, I repeat PERSONALLY I do not like those kind of renditions of certain characters, but enough is enough.

I am referring to the very poor comments made on the Creafigs forum about this release by some guys (I think one of them, "sylvain" is even a member here), denigrating not only the piece but above all the Spanish people and brands. Yeah as you read it, they just think we in Spain are all pirates and very poor sculptors. Take a minute and read what they are saying about it and about Spanish people.

And yes, this is exactly an unrequested vent cause I think those kind of childish people have absolutely no idea about what they are saying. Man, their envy, hypocrisy, presumption and bitterness is really unbearable. Cannot wait to see some of their crap posted here to comment it the same way they do with other people work.

You know I am not used to this kind of posts but as previously said enough is enough and seeing people throwing mud against Spanish people and brands in a public forum is something I cannot stand.

Feel free to do what you want with my post, remove it or whatever else you prefer. I will not retire a single word of what I said and I really do not care about the reaction of those poor guys posting on the Creafigs forum.

Take care, Luca

Luca,

Did we miss something here?

If folks are slinging mud at Spanish people or Spanish brands I'm not seeing it in this thread. If it's happening on another site why are you bringing it here? ~Gary

When recasters put their crap on eBay why you and/or other people bring it here ? When a brand release something new why you and/or other people announce it here ?

Becuase this is one of the most important forums about figures and posting here means allowing a good portion of the modelling community to be informed about what happens out there. And I think that everyone should be aware about the attitude of some poor guys used to post on the Creafigs forum, above all when some of these guys are used to post here too.

We are not talking about a personal attack against someone, but of a systematic attitude they have against a lot of sculptors and brands.

It is just about sharing infos Gary, just about that, which is the main purpose of a forum I guess. Constructive critique is a thing, systematic throwing of mud and crap against the same people/brands again and again is a very bad attitude which must be pointed out. As previously said cannot wait to see their 'art' posted here to welcome it the same way. They are only able to open their mouth and say bla, bla, bla cause from a sculpting and painting point of view their work is really pitifully.

I fully understand the exchange of information from one site to another I'm just a little confused about you posting it on a thread that is showing new releases from Fontegris Miniatures.~Gary

Gary, my fault if I was not clear enough, but I made that post here, where the new Fontegris release has been announced, because on the Creafigs forum there is a post about the same Fontegris release where some guys are denigrating once again Spanish brands and people as usual, it is not the first time and I think it will not be the last.

It is not nice to see those kind of things happening again, again and again.

I've said it elsewhere... I'll say it again here... I like that figure, it's different in a nice way :)
Anyone know what their bases are like? They've got a fantastic looking range.

Rudi :)

Rudi having examined some of Fondegris bases i will say they re well casted and sculpted bu tthey dont have the accurate historical look of other companies like Pegaso , e.t.c. . They tent a little bit on the fantasy side even if they rwe on the historical range. But they are decent releases for sure

Rudi,
I have purchased three of their bases and the service from them was excellent to the U.S.A. The bases I have are resin and well cast with fairly good fit. Some clean up required but nice just the same. Really nice people to deal with.
Cheers
John
