My ever patient wife bought me this set for my 50th last year, so very near a year to the day I started them.

Sculpted by Michael Kontraros in 54mm scale

I shall be painting them in a variety of the Scale 75 acrylic ranges and Daler Rowney FW acrylic inks.

Progress on Pestilences Steed..... Plus B&Ws to check contrast value, it was at this point I decided to tone down the right front leg a bit

Looking really good so far, and I shall be following with interest. I can see this being a fairly challenging but at the same time very enjoyable paint.

Are these the individual riders or the set of 4? I was tempted by that "special edition" that comprises all four along with the amazing base, but the price tag was a very hefty one that I couldn't justify paying at the time, and I believe it's now OOP ("limited edition" and all that ...).

Sadly its just the set of 4, this is going to be a basing challenge for me as I don't like doing it at the best of times, but I have some ideas on how to make it loosely based on the original OOP base

First time that I have seen this kit also and it looks brilliant, fantasy is not my subject but the fantasy sculptors and painters create beautiful yet sinister stuff and I will certainly follow this with interest, nice work so far and well done to the wife for supporting your project.
