The sgt. sitting with the smoke, looks strikingly similar to John C. McGinley in the movie Platoon.

Great work, I look forward to picking up some of these figs.

Hi Vladi,

man that is brilliant. Red is so perfect that it could be an 1:1 copy from a photo. Amazing work. The head is one of the best in the line. You got his haircut very well. The Marines looks so great too that they are really art. The idea with the extra helmets and PE parts is very nice. It´s perfect addition for so crasy guys like me and Mario in positive sence :). Your M60 Gunner in the other Thread is very well done and i like the idea with the raincoat. It´s something different than the standard BDU and armor vest. Can´t wait to see the assistant gunner. Looking forward for your great work and can´t wait to see the rest of your seal team, Marines, and Platoon like big harold etc. You are the best and you have surely a growing fan community.

Regards from Berlin

Stefan

I wonder why Bravo 6 doesn't make WW2 figures anymore. My first and only purchase from them was all five of their Eastern front figures. Cracking stuff those.

I keep visualising a scene where some of the post-war Bravo 6 hunks were doing their shooting, tying shoe laces and middle fingers against an abandoned or destroyed T34/85. Or T55. I think that would be refreshing.

Fantastic!!!!!!!!!

Hi Vladi, many congratulation as usually i did...,your figures are very fine ,perfect gems,i like so much your Red in particulary, but only becousse i am very found to Platoon film ,and for this reason, i love their characters ( lets go with Big Harold, Junior ,Sal and the others!!!!!!).Your new series is fine too, and i ll buy all of your marines( and obviously all the others twice at least...),i wish to suggest to all the modellers these figures that are very beauty indeed, and i haven t best words to describe them!!!!
Optimum the helmet too ( i hope that they will be not too little...)and fine the spectacles, very useful items!!!!
Hi Stefan how are you? I am again busy with my nam dioramas with a big Buddah and same wall around ,and 15/20 infantry fighting covered from the wall ....a long work but amusing so much!!!!Yes Stefan we are crazy for nam period miniatures and in particular for the Bravo 6 figures....i just saw in my mind same marines with new Bravo 6 spectacles and helmets........very gooood, my friend, you are working on what now?Bye
Mario from Italy.

They look awesome, looks like you will be getting alot more of my money for these excellent figures

Many thanks, friends!
Thanks for your warm words.
Assistant of M60 gunner is in process, I hope that can show both together nearest days.I try to move simultaneously some directions. Next figures will be more Marines, two figure set of Junior+Big Harold and US sniper team. I`ve all of it in process.
I hope that members of "NAM madness club" will be glad!:)

Good Morning Vladi,

sounds great on that beautiful Morning. You make a sniper team??? That´s great. The only Sniper Figures i know are from CMK and Plus Models and Plus Models are a shame.
You really rock the Jungle ;-). Junior and Big Harold are fantastic. So nearly all the guys from Platoon will be ready for action. We can´t see it on your Photo but you must have Octopus arms to make so fast and many new Figures in such a short time :). "Nam Madness club" is very funny. I think the membership is growing very fast. Great news Master Vladi. May the Force be with you.
@ Mario: Hello my friend, sounds very good what you are doing. I now work on two Dio ideas at the same time. Once a little hue scene with M151a1 jeep and the old Kirin Wall section together with the srone lions from the same Company with two or three Hobby fan Figures. So Vladis new Figures are the perfect addition for my idea and rounds it up. The other will be an SASR jungle dio with captured VC´s on an search and destroy mission with an camp with bunker and so. I want to make it in two floors. So you see on top the main scene and under the earth an little tunnel system with weapons cave and so on. It will be difficult but i have the idea for so long that i must try it. Most of the time are gone for converting the figures. I have not much time and my girlfriend will also have some time with me together. So slowly steps forward.

Ok, have a nice day and many greetings

Stefan

Hi Vladi,

more superb releases, (guess only) temporarily the two fighting Marines are my favourites, great poses and the details are fantastic, as usual!

Good to see Platoon come alive again :)
Nice work all around! Thanks

Thanks friends!
Stefan, I reserved item number 35022 (while empty) for US sniper team-opponents for VC sniper 35021.
Now I`m planning next figures, USMC radiooperator is among them.I`d like to give him standard radio PRC-25,but on old-fashioned WW2 era plywood backpack (on photo).
I have some photos of this pack, but I need exactly dimentions of it and I can not understand way of attaching PRC-25 on this pack.
May be somebody has some good reference?

many thanks.
Vladi

Hi Vladi,

try out this link. Is a very good site with very good detail info and Photos.
http://images.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a255/MARKHITCOM/WWII%2520field%2520gear/WWII_M43_packboard.jpg&imgrefurl=http://markhitcom.mysinablog.com/%3Fop%3DDefault%26Date%3D%26postCategoryId%3D0%26page%3D16&usg=__qvmfVb6ykzeNsbCaYNyDRaxquQw=&h=577&w=800&sz=392&hl=de&start=6&itbs=1&tbnid=pJyyK0TlgwrQWM:&tbnh=103&tbnw=143&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dww2%2Bplywood%2Bbackpack%2Bvietnam%26hl%3Dde%26rlz%3D1T4GGLL_deDE337DE337%26tbs%3Disch:1

scroll down a little bit then you will find a very good Photo. A beeter search name for the metal backpack is M1943 plywood. It was a little bit tricky but perhaps it helps. The radio was hold on with the straps trough slots at the backpack in my opinion.
