hello my friends,
following my review of this great sci-fi bust ( https://www.planetfigure.com/threads/fox-jupiter-mr-lees-minis.271395/ ) it was finally time for me to get back at the bench
As i said in the review, i slightly modified the original sculpt of the bust in order to have a more operational realism, i shaved down the comm unit on the right shoulder and made it become a patch, i created a new comm unit in her back from my spare parts box and finally i added a silencer to the gun. At the very end of the project i will add a mic coming from her ear
at first i just played with colors in order to find a "mood" , i must say that watching the show "the expanse" in the same time gave me some ideas (this show is a must for sci-fi addicts like me, available on prime video, 4 seasons)
so 2 weeks ago i was there :
Then the real job get in the process with the end of my vacations and i didn't had time to paint, but i watched more episodes of the Expanse ... getting more "references" in my head
Today i was back at the bench (rainy day outside : no motorcycling ...) and i decided to go into more "detailing", eyes, the back, pushing some lights here and there ... to make it short : getting into ambiance and here i am for the moment :
still along way to go, but she's slowly getting where i want, she is a tough one Vet of many campaigns
the weapon is painted only in NMM, All is acrylics (scalecolors) as usual.
