Hello Everyone,
We are trying to clarify a query over the fitting of parts to one of our figures - a 120mm resin figure of a RAF Tornado Aircrew from the 1990's that we have recently purchased from Firing Line. This includes the use of the fantastic David Parkin etch sets.
The figure comes as a basic resin casting with an etch super detail set and it is the identification and positioning of one of these parts to the shoulders that we need help with - see pictures.
Firstly, this is the etch detail set available for the kit and we need help with parts 4 and 5 in the upper middle of the first picture
The guide we have is to position them here as per the right hand illustration -
And here are pictures of the actual model -
Therefore can anybody clarify what mark flying suit would have been worn by Tornado aircrew in the 1990's and perhaps give me some links or directions to sites where we can compare our figure with the real thing?
In particular, we need clear pictures of the metal "tags" to the shoulders, what they are, what they looked like, and precise positioning. We can then re-release the figure to those interested.
Thanks in advance.
