Hi, a nice piece of work, especially the work on the flag and metalwork.

Only two points: First, and I realise that it's the modelling not your painting, but the right arm looks like it's draped in silk or something (very close/fine wrinkles- not at all like heavy material). Similarly the blue seems far to light and bright: in fact, with the above I thought he'd got the flag wrapped around it.

In his books Dawson shows a sample(albeit 1823) and the colour chart show darker shades:

I don't like the right hand either; there are too many wrinkles in relation to color, blue is very fading and stale.

Nicely done. I agree about the right arm. The blue does look a too bright as well, but that does not detract from the quality of the painting.

Excellent paintwork on an excellent sculpt and casting. I painted this one a few years ago and to try and imagine where those stripes and colors would be all bunched and painted correctly was a bitch. All in all......well done and keep up the good work.
