French Flag Bearer 1640

Dear Planeteers,

my latest figure: a French flag bearer of the Regiment d'Auvergne around 1640.

I have to admit, this huge flag was a little intimidating at first. Hope you like the result of my efforts.

I am now looking forward to a more simple paint job next time.

You've done a great job on this piece love the purples and the clothing colour ...really works well together ...nice fleshtones as well

Excellent work, very well done, as Nap said, superb color and tones, all looks very real, if you allow me a comment IMHO, in a close view, the transitions on the flag with a little bit more of softness would be top level, as the rest of the bust is.
