A Fixture
I just wanted to remind everyone that The Heinz History Center here in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania will open their new French and Indian War exhibit "Clash of Titans" this Sunday, May 1st. Here's a link to their site...

To go along with this, a local Public Radio station, WDUQ is running a very interesting story about the creation of the exhibit today. Included in this story is an interview with the sculptor of the figures used in the display. You can live stream the station if interested in listening. Here's a link...

Unfortunately I don't have a sound card here at work so I can't give you a direct link to the page that plays the story (I wouldn't know if it was right or not). But the story seems to be run as a local news story, not national. If someone can get it to work, I'd appreciate their putting the correct link here.
Seeing as I work across the street from the History Center, I have no good excuse for not visiting it. Sounds pretty interesting.

PS: Here's a link to a thread on the exhibit posted by Gary D. on the site...

And my apologies to Gary. Somehow I completely missed his thread when I wrote mine.
