Does anyone have good references of the French *white* infantry uniform w/ "Tarleton" style helmet from the 1790's? I'm building a figure with an action pose so it would have to be a regiment that was engaged somewhere...Lets say at Valmy, 1792.

I've "googled" but no luck. The more I search, I get dead end's or more questions rise.

I have two wonderful atricles on the uniform from Tradition Magazine and Osprey's French Revolutionary Infantryman 1791-1802. Great book, but the battle captions are in black and white and neither of these have an Order of Battle to narrow down specific regiments. Any regiments that distinguished themselves would be great too.

If anyone has an Order of Battle or uniform references for these type of troops in the early Revolutionary battles, it will be greatly appreciated.

Jason, I found some stuff that may be of use. I'll scan what I have in the morning after I get home from work. ~Gary

By the way, Jason, I visited your blog and you have some very nice miniatures. And unusual too. You should share them here on Planetfigure.
