Anyone know the dimensions of a French Regt flag from the American Revolution period?

Just got this in case anyone is interested.

The flags were 5ft, 4in square flags. Mounted on an ash pole between 9'6" and 10'7" long. The pole was topped with "golden copper" finial/spear tip. The flag was attached via a sleeve that had 80-90 small nails to secure it. Tied around the finial there was a white cravate measuring 7'6" long with gold fringe and a woven cord that could be white or in regimental colors. The flag was made out of silk.

On to sculpting a flag!
