And Jimi in Memphis, TN at Ellis Auditorium, April 18, 1969.

I was 19 and it was hot in the auditorium that night. Banks of hissing Marshall amps lined up along the back wall of the stage. It started getting smoky the minute the lights went out.

Terrible quality video and audio bootleg but I guess it's the only one available.

They may not have had a set list and all Jimi seemed to want to do was jam. He completely lost the bass player a couple of times.

No that's not my ticket - I WISH.

All the best,
Dan

Here is a track I have always loved from one of my favourite bands.
Not something you would expect from Iron Maiden.
If you ever wondered what the sw was before ralph this is where it comes from.I used the handle Strange World way back when cb's were popular. When people asked my name I even told them it was Strange World.
Give it a listen you may be surprised
All the best.
Ralph.

Very good..but if it's one for the road it has to be

Roy Orbison: I drove all night.
or
Chris Rea: The road to Hell
or to get back into the 'left hand lane of the thread'...
Madness: driving in my car!

Good to know that there are real music connoisseurs out there (y) let it run and you lost boys should get a cracking version of Bangarang (not the crap rap version)
Next Fridays featured track should be listened to with a glass of Bourbon in hand ;)
Del.by the way what Bourbon do you drink?
