Friends Drop By

Dave Harper, Bill Chilstrom and Chun Hsu dropped by for dinner tonight. Dave and Bill were here at Ft. Knox to photograph tanks and copy things from the library. Dave says I need to point out who is who in the photograph. Dave is first on the left, you can also see his pic in the post office. Then me, I think I'm the better looking of the bunch but they seem to disagree. Then there's Bill and Chun. They seem to resemble each other but of course they both deny having the same mother. In fact, Dave denies Bill ever had a mother :lol: . In any case, it's good to have friends drop by and sit around while we talk models and figures.

I do miss sitting around and talking figures with someone of like interests. Up here in Mt Home, Idaho it is hard to find a person interested in models much less figure painting.

I have been out of the hobby for over two years now. I am starting question whether or not I will be able to operate an airbrush once I decide to dive back in.

I recently went out to the workshop and looked at a couple of kits. My wife keeps asking when I will build again. Who knows?

Anyway, enjoyed your photo and happy to see that you are keeping the hobby alive.

Robert and Yancy, that is rather why Pf is such a good thing; and you'll see, you'll be surprised how friendly and kind the other members are when you go to a big show and meet some of them.
Also, since recently many experts in our hobby have joined Pf, and they are quite generous, sharing their knowledge if you ask them ... I'll be forever grateful to the man who taught me a neat trick to get them Vallejo's dead matte !!! (thank you, you know who you are, I owe you ! )

... So you see, in many ways Pf is a great modelling club !

I agree. Easier to tell the Bobbsie Twins apart.
