Fusilier WW1 pilot holding planes tail

Hello all I have the Fusilier WW1 fig holding the plane tail and was wondering what color his pants would be. I know the coat was leather. Also the boots look like pull overs on top of his regular boots any ideas on these. Thank you in advance for any help. Regards Brock here is a pic. My thanks to Colorado Miniatures.

I paint with Vallejo acrylics, so I don't know if this will help, but I would base coat with Green-Brown and shade with English Uniform, and highlight with Buff (sorry, I don't have acess to the numbers right now, I'll post them later) for the pants. Just my two cents.

I have found an article in a magazin with a description of the figurepainting and with the information about the used colours. The painter used as base a mixture from Vallejo (V) 874 + 872 + 914. For the shades he used V 926, V 822 and a little bit V 950 with the base colour. For the highlights he used V 914 + V 819 + V 845.
