Gate 47
Lt. Franks: Sir, we're picking up a massive energy surge, it looks like Gate 47 is coming on line.
Cpt Dollery: Son, when you've been here as long as I have, you'll know a bunch of faulty sensors when you see them. That gate's been sealed for years, there's nothing that can get through there.
Franks: Of course sir. Shall i send a team to investigate?
Dollery: Team?! Use your head man. I can't dispatch a team to change a few sensors, management would have my hide.
Where's Michaelson? I haven't seen that man do jack in days.
MICHAELSON! Get your ass down to 47, patch the sensors. And bring me coffee on the way back.

"Lunas soldier" from nocturna miniatures, all in acrylic with scratch built/kit bashed scenery.

Cracking piece of modelling. Really like the way youve placed the 'fantasy' figure in a sci fi setting. The two painting styles work, the figure clean and colourful and the setting old steel and rust. Top work.
Thanks Del, I'm very glad that what I was going for came across so clearly!

Wow Ken, very nicely done!

Great paint job and scratch built gate and I love the view through the gate. I read a lot (a lot!) of scifi/fantasy and your back story is right out of a novel. I wish I could read more and see what happens next... :)

Well done,
Ken

Thank you Ken, I like to write a little story for all my larger pieces, it helps me focus on the scene so I've aways got the tone of the piece in my head. I've got a note book full of very short stories! What happens next? Who knows? But it's not looking too good for Michaelson is it? Guess the rest is in the viewers head.

I like the entire concept and the excellent presentation.
I have the distinct impression Michaelson won't be around for long...
