At last, my take on Generalfeldmarschall Gebhard von Blücher, one of David Grieve's masterpieces, a joy to put paint on! Painted in oils on enamel.

No Wellington for the time being, but he is in my grey army.

I intend to tackle Ray Lamb's iconic Taishō later this year, the figure that started it all. Unwrapping each and every piece from its fine blue paper feels like an act of sacrilege, even after all those years it is still awe-inspiring!
