S.K.Miniatures latest release of General Robert Craufurd. The kit is supplied in a sturdy cardboard box and all parts protected between layers of foam. There is some very nice box art on the front of the box to use as a painting reference as well as a comprehensive painting guide and historical notes included in the box. The figure is cast in seven white metal parts and is 75mm in scale.
A close inspection of the parts shows a good level of detail on all parts with very minimal cleanup required. We can see here the head placed onto the boady seen from three angles. Very nice detail sculpted into the face of the figure and a clean casting.
The upper and lower part of the body is a one piece casting. The picture below shows the head attached. We can see close up the level of detail sculpted into the figure.
The left and right arms locate very well to the main torso with no evidence of any filler being needed. The hat in the left hand is part of the one piece casting of the arm. The hand and sword of the right arm is a separate part that needs to be fitted.
Location of the sash and sword scabbard on the left hand side of the body shows a very snug fit.
Conclusion: Another nice release from S.K Miniatures in a very popular scale. All parts are cleanly cast and there is very minimal clean up required. Level of detail is good and the fit of parts is good. Highly recommended.
