Hello Rompy, I like how this turned out. Your painting really has improved with each new project. The face painting of the skintones look great. I've read where you tried a new approach with the face blending, it sure paid off. As far as any improvements, maybe a camouflage netting for the helmet. This bust has a very long face, which in my opinion, makes the helmet look squashed on his head, nothing wrong with that, I have seen wartime photos where this helmet looked small on many Fallschirmjagers. A net might help even out the helmet in relation to the face, especially to the front brim of the helmet. I did some research on this helmet, and learned they were manufactured in many places, different circumferences, brim sizes both short and long, rivets and chinstraps in many different patterns and styles, and also the liners inside the helmet. So just about anything goes regarding the shape. I like how you changed the color of the helmet from your earlier blue version, and also like the weathering. The jump smock is particularly well done. Overall an excellent piece Rompy, Congrats and Regards, SG:)(y)(y)

I like the lid as is, ive only ever seen a couple of yank and messy get caught on everything lufty buggers with the veils, most were just as you had it, his fingers and nails would be grimmy not to loose detail but I know from experiance by 48hrs you hands get shxt high, like it just bit clean IMHA, Great stuff , faust

Rompy ,

Nice work , love the helmet and Camo , good work on the weapon as well .

If I might suggest using a brass washer over the post he is on , this cleans up where the hole has been drilled ...apart from that ...great job .

Thanks for sharing
