Chris - My compliments - that's really nice! Did you add white glue or anything to the Kleenex? Describe the process for us, please. I want to try it for certain!

I'm working on texturing thin MS putty so that it looks like gauze bandage and wrap. The hand drill I use has a patterned hand-grip surface. If you roll that part of the drill over MS putty when it is just about set, you get the even pattern of indents that (to me at least) look like gauze in 1/16th scale. Probably would work even better with a combination of MS and Duro.

All the best,
Dan

Hi Guys
Thanks very much indeed for the feed back aways gives you a bit of a boost.
The proceess i used was to get white plumbers tape i split it down the middle in fact if you just snip the end with scapel and just pull it.
That size seems to suit 1/16 scale .
However i have split it more for 75m 90m and 1/35.
It realy is quite easy to work with, yra i did use a bit of white pva glue to hold in place .
You just then start to wrap it around the head any way you want to, and when you want to pace the bit of kleenex in the position you want,i then placed a little bit of supper glue on the end and placed it on the top of the head ,where it will be coverd by the helmet.
The tape paints up well as does the kleenex which i feel gives a good effect of blood soaked dressing used Acril paints but you can use oils and enamels the tape still works well.
Again thanks for the feed back and i hope this little bit of info helps.
Cheers Chris
