Ed, Mick and Guy,
Thanks. I enjoyed the figure and the hardest part was the arm band. It took a while for me to get it the way I liked it. The figure is from Warriors and if you like it I would suggest trying to pick it up soon. I spoke to Bob Letterman and he said it was not a good seller and it may just dissappear.

Here is how I paint the flesh. I paint wet on wet.
Base: WN mars brown + WN lemon yellow + Rembrandt napels yellow red extra (it is a flesh color) + WN white + a dab of WN cad red
Highlights: Rembrandt Napels yellow + a dab of WN white. I will then continue to add white until the finial highlighs are pure white
Shadows: WN mars brown for the mid and then WN mars brown + WN burnt umber for the deep shadows and the deepest are WN purple madder aliziarn.
I also paint above the eyes WN mars violet.

Hey Guy,
No problem. I had it all down last night and my computer locked up and I lost it all. My boys are asleep now so this gave me some time to do it again. I am experimenting with a different formula and I will let you know how it turns out.

Hi Joe
What I like the most-apart from the brilliant paint job-is that someone has sculpted a ww2 figure that is unique and is not dressed in the usual camoflaged combat gear like so many others.

Thank you very much. I agree with this figure being different. This is what I liked so much about the kit. There are so many different uniforms that are really nice looking I wish someone would come out with a few of them.
