This is the first figure I have ever painted. It was a pretty simple Tamiya 1/16 kit (WWII German Machine Gunner (Greatcoat)). It was painted according to the color scheme, with little modification, except a whitewash to the helmet and painting the shoulder boards on the greatcoat with a panzergrenadier color scheme. I also added a corporals insignia to the right arm using some lead foil, and made a sling for the MG with lead foil as well.

It was painted with Tamiya and Vallejo Acrylics and the highlighting and shading was done with Artists Oils and Casine paints.

I apologize for the image quality. I did the best with what I had.

Hi Shaun,

Thanks for posting your pics and sharing them with us all. Very well done for a first figure. See if you can achieve a matt finish on the grey surface of the overcoat.
